Dr. Ramanuj Konar started his teaching career in 2004 as an Assistant Teacher in English at a secondary level high school in West Bengal. Presently he is an Assistant Professor of English at Sarat Centenary College, Dhaniakhali, Hooghly, WB. He is also the editor of a peer-reviewed open access online English journal postScriptum: An Interdisciplinary Journal of Literary Studies [http://postscriptum.co.in], published by the Department of English, Sarat Centenary College. Dr. Konar is the Principal Investigator of UGC Minor Research Project, entitled “Environment and Ethnicity in the Works of Temsula Ao and Mamang Dai: An Ecocritical Study”.
He has done his graduation (with Honours in English), post-graduation and PhD from The University of Burdwan. He has researched on the representation of childhood in Australian Aboriginal plays for his PhD dissertation. He has published in several journals and edited volumes and presented at many national and international seminars and conferences.
