Vijaykumar More is a PhD student at the Department of English at Dr. Babasaheb Ambedkar Marathwada University, Aurangabad. He is a post graduate in English as well as in Economics from the same university. Currently he is working on his dissertation “Native Culture in the writings of Elechi Amadi and Flora Nwapa”. It is a thorough study of the culture of an indigenous Nigerian tribe ‘Igbo’ and its association with the nature. His recent article, “Bride Price: A prestigious custom in Igbo marriage depicted in Flora Nwapa’s Efuru” is published in a national journal. His research interests include Literature and Environment, Cultural Studies, Tribal and Indigenous Studies and Eco-Cultural Studies. He has it in mind to participate in nature conservation initiatives as well. He likes to read books, to watch movies and to wander in greenery.
He is a lifetime member of EFSLE and also he has been appointed as one of the Executive Council Members (ECM) for its Maharashtra Region.
