Dr Chitra is an Assistant Professor of Hindi at JayotiVidyapeeth Women’s University, Jaipur.She is teaching graduation and post-graduation students, and supervising PHD research scholars as well. She obtained Ph.D. degree from Central University of Punjab from the Department of Languages and Comparative Literature. Her areas of interest include Subaltern Literature, Dalit Literature, Tribalstudy, Human Rights, and Comparative studies.She has presented a number of papers in national and international conferences in India and abroad. She is also member of reviewer board.
She is concerned with the issues related to the LEGH Movement (Literature, Environment, Gender and Human Rights). She is nominated as one of the Executive Council Members (ECM) of EFSLE for its Rajasthan region.
