Dr Savita Patil Kothawale is the head of the department of English in Dr babasaheb Ambedkar College, Aundh, Pune. She has completed 23 years of service. Her specialization is in American literature and Shakespeare. She has achieved M.Phil pervading American Poet John Updike’ poem. She has conceptualized “Marginalization Theory’ in her thesis entitled “A Study of Female Marginalization Reflected in Selected Post-colonial Female Writers.”
Her interest is in Feminist Studies, Cultural Studies, Comparative Literature and Gender Studies. She has presented many research papers in International, National conferences. Her poems have been published in an International anthology entitled “Feel with You” and in other leading magazines. She is a creative writer and published her short story in volume II entitled “Voices from the Society.”
She is a Lifetime Member of EFSLE and also an Executive Council Member (ECM) of its Maharashtra Region.
