Dr Asha Choubey is an Associate Professor of English in the Department of Humanities at MJP Rohilkhand University, Bareilly. Her interest lies in the areas of ELT, Feminism, Post colonial Literature and Indian English Fiction. Her books Women on Women, Womancing Women, Righting the Wrong, and The Fictional Milieu of Nayantara Sahgal have been very well received. She has been published by such International houses as Sage, Routledge, Facts on File, Greenwood and prestigious journals like Linguistics and Literature Studies, USA; Apple Valley Review, USA; Quiet Mountain Essays, USA Literary Paritantra, India; Rupkatha, India and many others. A proud recipient of many International as well as National awards and recognitions, she is a UGC Trainer/ coordinator for Capacity Building Programme for Women Managers in Higher Education. She has the distinction of being one of the 13 members of the CBWD Committee, headed by Prof. Srimati Das under the patronage of Prof. Armaity Desai. Dr. Choubey was awarded 2010 visiting fellowship to the Dept. of Comparative Literature and Cultural Studies, Eotvos Lorand University, Budapest, Hungary jointly by UGC, India and HSB, Hungary. She has delivered Invited lectures across Universities in India as well as Canada, Sri Lanka, and Malaysia.
She is a lifetime member of EFSLE and she has also been appointed as one of the Coordinators for its Uttar Pradesh-West Region.
