Dr. Karan Singh is Associate Professor in the dept. of English at Govt. College for Women, Mahendergarh, Haryana. He is Editor of the Journal OASIS and has published seven books along with many articles in national and International Journals. He has completed two U.G.C. funded Research Projects on Folk Songs of South Haryana and Dalit Literature. At present he is working on another Major Research Project awarded by U.G.C. on folk theatres. He has been an Associate at Indian Institute of Advanced Studies, Shimla from 2009-2012 and has successfully organized six National Seminars since 2009. He has been to Turkey, Malaysia and U.S.A.in International Conferences to present his Research papers. He has been a recipient of IIAS-ASC fellowship from Leiden University, Netherlands in 2015 and is a Research Guide under M.D. University Rohtak.
