Dr Shuchita Chandhok is an Assistant Professor in Amity Institute of Corporate Communication, Amity University, Noida. She holds a Ph.D. in English Literature, focusing on Cultural Studies from Gurukul Kangri Vishwavidyalalya, Haridwar. She has travelled widely in the Indian sub-continent and has an inherent love for the natural beauty found in the different states of the country. A passion for classic English literature combined with her appreciation for the nuances of natural beauty led her to foray into studying Environmental Humanities. Bonding of Man, Nature and Culture is not transient. The survival is heavily dependent on valuing the right to survive. Ecology, environment and the relational aspects of humans as a part of this planet is something that intrigues her in all aspects of literature and language. A career spanning 18 years in leading the younger generation towards better understanding and appreciation of English language and its usage in communication has seen her grow as a teacher, speaker and above all, a learner.She has contributed enhancingly to various literary platforms such as ELT@I and MELUS as a researcher and literary analyst. She has published extensively across various journals and books awhile remaining a corporate trainer. It is with great pleasure and zeal she has now become a part of the EFSLE Executive Council.
