Dr. Vikram Singh Amarawat is working as Assistant Professor of History at Department of History and Culture, Gujarat Vidyapith, Ahmedabad. He has done his PhD in History from Jai Narain Vyas University, Jodhpur. His interest area of research is Literature, History and Historiography. He has published a number of research papers in various journals on historiography, literature and history. He has done his PhD on Khyat Literature which is known as significant primary source of Medieval History of Rajasthan and western India. Since 2010 he is associated with Gujarat Vidyapith (founded by Mahatma Gandhi in 1920) and trying to understand Gandhian ideology for sustainability of society.
His major area of interest assimilates the soul concern of the LEGH Movement (Literature, Environment, Gender and Human Rights). He joined EFSLE as its life time member and further he has been appointed as the Coordinator for its Gujarat North-East Region.
