Dr. Mridusmita Baruah is Assistant Professor in English at Dayal Singh Evening College, Delhi University. Graced this planet on 18th Feb and belong to the beautiful state of Assam (Guwahati) with lush greenery and rich flora and fauna. Masters in English Literature and B.Ed. from Gauhati University. Holds a Ph.D on Bodo Movement in Assam from the School of Interdisciplinary and Transdisciplinary Studies, IGNOU New Delhi. Served as Lecturer in the Department of English in K.C. Das Commerce College, Guwahati for a year. Has some experience in Multinational Companies in Pune and Gurgaon. Had the opportunity to serve as an Assistant Regional Director in IGNOU, Regional Centre Delhi-1. Actively participated and presented research papers in several National and International Seminars/Conferences. Have many publications to her credit. Have visited Countries like Bhutan and London for Academic pursuits. Apart from that participated in many research based Orientation programmes.
